Play with Pick ‘n Pay

SHOPTALK

Play with Pick ‘n Pay
Pick ‘n Pay has launched Pick ‘n Play - a digital download service for music, ringtones and airtime. I believe it is a smart move that will see the retailer get in touch with a younger generation who probably have very little interest in Pick ‘n Pay, the store, but would get great value out of the online airtime, ringtone and music sales.
You can also go into a store and buy a voucher to use it online - I am not sure who would use that particular service though, when you could just use a credit card to make a purchase.
However, the site itself works really well - its quick, functional and easy to navigate. On the down side – the selection of songs is limited at this stage.
I believe it will grow quickly, even though it is more expensive than musica.co.za, and far more expensive than music sharing...but at least it is legal.
